Intern Web Developer

Intern web developer combining front-end and back-end, eager to learn, creative, and working with modern web technology.

Working at Forge

Forge is a small agency with big ambitions. From our base in Aalsmeer, we create cutting-edge digital products with a close-knit team. We’re now looking for a curious and talented web-development intern who wants to explore the field broadly.

Who we’re looking for

We’re seeking an enthusiastic web-development intern interested in both front-end and back-end work. You’re eager to learn and creative, enjoy experimenting with new web technologies in your spare time, and are always looking to grow your skills. Nearing the end of your studies, you’re ready to sharpen your talent with modern tools and frameworks—an inquisitive maker excited to help build innovative web projects.

  • You are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communication & Multimedia Design, a bachelor’s degree in Software Development, or an associate degree in Media & Application Development.
  • Full-time availability (40 hours)
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git, and preferably TypeScript and SCSS/SASS
  • Able to work independently, customer-friendly, and a strong team player
  • Bring creative insight to your work
  • Motivated to contribute to both client projects and internal ideas
  • Excellent Dutch and good English skills

What we offer

  • Young, ambitious, and enthusiastic colleagues
  • A brand-new office with a pool table, PlayStation 5 and parking space
  • Coffee that’s far beyond typical “office coffee”
  • Daily team lunches at the office
  • The right equipment and tools to produce top-quality work
  • Mileage allowance (when the student public transport card does not apply)
  • Internship compensation between € 500 and € 1000, depending on your experience and education
